Guitar Hero SUCKS the 80s. See what I did there?

Tonight (or, more accurately, last night) I went over to Simon's to hang, play some Evil Islands, and then eventually, get and play my review copy of Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s. And then we finished it in three hours, every song on Hard. All 30 of them. Yes. Only 30 songs. No bonus songs to purchase either. Only 6 characters to choose from, and the only one available for purchase is Death. Fuck! Not only that, the songs themselves weren't even that great. I only heard maybe two that I even knew about, and only one that I kind of liked. There was none of that energy, that wanting to play just one more song. Oh, and nothing is changed from Guitar Hero II, except the characters, and the venues, and some of the menus look different. That's it. Many of the menus are the same. ALL of the guitars are the same, even the reward ones, and the skins are as well. ALL of the venues are actually the same, just with different skins. Did I mention there were only 30 songs? That means there are only 6 venues, not the usual 8. No new modes, no new options, no new nothing. And you know what, it costs $50 bucks in the stores. WHAT THE FUCK. I would be a sad sad person if I bought this. In other words, don't buy this. At BEST, rent it.

dang. i was looking forward to that. thanks for the heads up.
Yeah, so was I, but its song list just doesn't justify its price tag. I suggest waiting for GH3, which should be a better than its predecessors.
